Part A: Digital Services Refund Policy

This section applies to digital services purchased as one-time purchases via www.geledtech.com, including question banks, digital study materials, and e-books.

II. Refund Rules

1. Core Principle

One-time purchase digital services do not support refunds without cause. Users must fully confirm their requirements, functional compatibility, and usage conditions before placing an order. Successful payment constitutes acceptance of this policy.

2. Special Circumstances Eligible for Refund Application

  • Technical Failure: If the purchased service is continuously unusable due to platform technical reasons (exceeding 48 hours unresolved), a refund may be granted upon confirmation by the technical department.
  • Duplicate Charges: If the system fails and causes duplicate payment for the same order, a refund for the overcharged amount may be applied for.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Refund requests due to user reasons such as operational error, device compatibility issues, mistaken purchase, or changed requirements.
  • Services that have been accessed or activated for use (regardless of actual usage).

III. Refund Application Process

1. Application Window

Refund applications must be submitted via email (support@geledtech.com) within 3 days of purchase. Provide the order number, problem description, and relevant evidence (e.g., screenshots of the failure).

2. Review & Processing

Customer service will complete the review within 3 business days. This may extend to 5 business days in special circumstances (e.g., technical verification). Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment platform's rules (typically 1-3 business days).

Part B: Physical Products Refund & Return Policy

I. Scope of Application

This section applies to physical products such as printed books, study guides, and educational materials purchased through www.geledtech.com with delivery to your specified address.

II. Return & Refund Eligibility

1. Standard Return Period

Physical products may be returned for a full refund within 7 days of delivery if the following conditions are met:

  • Products remain in original, unopened condition with intact packaging and seals
  • All accompanying materials (supplements, access codes, etc.) are included and unused
  • Products show no signs of use, damage, writing, or marking
  • Original invoice or proof of purchase is provided

2. Quality Issues & Damaged Goods

If you receive products with quality defects or shipping damage, you may request a return, replacement, or refund within 14 days of delivery. Eligible conditions include:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Missing pages, printing errors, binding defects, or content errors
  • Shipping Damage: Torn pages, crushed covers, water damage, or other transit-related damage
  • Wrong Item Received: Item received does not match the order description

Evidence Required: Clear photos showing the defect or damage must be provided when submitting the return request.

3. Non-Returnable Circumstances

  • Products with broken seals, opened packaging, or signs of use
  • Products with any writing, markings, highlighting, or annotations
  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling by the customer
  • Return requests beyond the applicable return period
  • Clearance, sale, or specially marked non-returnable items

III. Return Shipping & Fees

1. Return Shipping Responsibility

  • Quality/Damage Issues: Growth Education will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs
  • Customer Preference Returns: Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs

2. Restocking Fee

Returns due to customer preference (change of mind) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee deducted from the refund amount. No restocking fee applies to quality or damage-related returns.

IV. Return Process

Step 1: Submit Return Request

Contact customer service within the applicable return period:

  • Email: support@geledtech.com
  • Include: Order number, product name, reason for return, and photos (if applicable)

Step 2: Return Authorization

Customer service will review your request within 2 business days and provide:

  • Return authorization (RMA) number
  • Return shipping instructions and address
  • Prepaid shipping label (if applicable)

Step 3: Ship Return Package

  • Pack items securely in original packaging (if available)
  • Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package
  • Use trackable shipping method and retain tracking number
  • Ship to the provided return address

Step 4: Inspection & Refund

Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the items within 3-5 business days:

  • Approved Returns: Full refund (minus any applicable restocking fee) processed to original payment method within 5-7 business days
  • Rejected Returns: Items returned to sender at customer's expense with explanation of rejection reason

V. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item. We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

VI. Lost or Undelivered Packages

  • If your package is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us within 3 days of the delivery date
  • We will investigate with the shipping carrier and provide a replacement or refund if the package cannot be located
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses. We are not liable for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

General Provisions

  • Prominent Notice: Refund and return policies are clearly displayed on product detail pages and during checkout. Users must acknowledge these policies before completing purchase.
  • Policy Updates: Growth Education Limited reserves the right to update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Dispute Resolution

  • If dissatisfied with the review outcome, customers may appeal via admin@geledtech.com. The platform will conduct a secondary review within 7 business days.
  • If the dispute remains unresolved, customers may seek resolution through the Consumer Council of Hong Kong or file a lawsuit with the competent court, according to the law.
